Valentine’s cupcakes

Valentine’s Day is almost there and I already had a LOVEly baking session with cute baking supplies my roomie brought home from her trip to the States. For all the cupcake-lovers in Germany or whereever you also can’t buy all these cute decorations, I can recommend to look online on etsy like here or here. By the way I used this blueberry-muffin recipe and made a vanilla frosting like Martha Stuart. And now – Happy Valentine’s Baking <3

Auch wenn ich Valentinstag nicht wirklich feiere, konnte ich es mir dennoch nicht verkneifen, eine kleine, kitschige Backsession einzulegen. Seitdem mir meine Mitbewohnerin total süße Back-Dekosachen von ihrer Amerikareise mitgebracht hat, haben Herzchenpins, Streusel und Pappschachteln auf ihren Einsatz gewartet. Das Blaubeermuffin-Rezept ist übrigens super einfach und natürlich lecker. Für das Frosting habe ich mich an diesem Rezept von Martha Stewart orientiert. Die hübsche Backdeko ist leider hierzulande etwas schwer zu finden. Alle Hamburger werden in den Collonaden fündig (Achtung: überteuert!!).
